Our story

Trusted by families since 1968.

It all started with a small shop in 1968. The rule has always been simple: sell only food you would happily give your own family.

Over the years, one shop grew into five. We supplied the railways and built trusted sources for honey and ghee across Odisha, Kolkata and Punjab. Today, it continues as Jyoti Naturals, delivering honey, ghee and makhana to homes all over India.

We took over the business and continued its legacy under the new name Jyoti Naturals.

Over 27 years of experience in FMCG and grocery retail.

Laxmi Kanta brings strong practical knowledge of the retail market, customer preferences and day-to-day business.

His experience and close understanding of consumers help Jyoti Naturals make better decisions around products, market needs and customer expectations.

Founder

Sumi Banerjee

A medical graduate with expertise in naturopathy and natural wellness.

Sumi has worked with reputed healthcare institutions, including Gauri Devi Medical College & Hospital and KIMS Hospital, gaining valuable experience in healthcare and patient care.

With her medical background and passion for natural wellness, she founded Jyoti Naturals to bring pure, natural and authentic products to modern families.

Sharmistha Chatterjee

A keen understanding of food processing and natural food products.

Sharmistha’s interest lies in how natural ingredients can be carefully processed and preserved without losing their original quality and goodness.

She is closely involved in product selection, processing and quality, helping Jyoti Naturals keep one simple principle: good products start with good ingredients and careful handling.

Chief Executive Officer

Soumya Chakraborty

MBA from West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), with over 15 years of entrepreneurial and operational experience.

Soumya has worked across hospitality, food services, diet management and tourism. He has managed food and dietary meal operations for West Bengal government hospitals, gaining strong experience in service delivery, quality management and large-scale operations.

He has also worked with Indian Railways on business and service operations, and built a tourism and service business, giving him a deep understanding of customer needs and service quality.

At Jyoti Naturals, he focuses on quality, consistency, responsible operations and customer trust.
